On March 5th , William Lu, the chairman of Microbio Company, gave an opening speech on NTU campus recruitment activity. William Lu mentioned that the salary was about twenty thousand dollars when he graduated in 1970s. Then, the company where he worked increased his salary to thirty thousand dollars after three years. However, the minimum wage remains to be 26K-30K until now, it reveals the national crisis of stagnant wages has lasted 35years in Taiwan.

NTU campus recruit activity began on March 5th, there were 275 companies and twenty thousand job vacancies released, it was the largest exhibition ever.  Biotechnology is an innovative industry and William Lu also presented Microbio Group to join the event. ”Industry decides a generation.” William Lu mentioned that Philippines was a rich country in 1980s, but their industrial structure changed and people became laborers without wealth. It owning to Philippines doesn’t catch up with electronics industry, which is popular in that time.

”The most valuable part of Taiwan is innovation. ” William Lu emphasized that the innovation development that the technical shares of professors cannot be less than 70% in China. In terms of Taiwan, many scientists in Taiwan aren’t willing to innovate. This is because if they do something different, the government will reject at once. Therefore, who dare to do any innovation and revolution?
