Innovation ability is the key to increase the enterprise’s competitiveness. William Lu, the chairman of Microbio Company, gave an impressive opening specch at NTU campus recruitment activity on March 5th. He took one of the green energy’s case as an example, which ultilized electric eel to generate the voltage.The cells that produce electricity in the eel, called electrocyte,s also create action potentials. But the electrocytes are stacked together to increase the total voltage in current. Large eels can produce up to 600 volts. This discovery can substitute wind power, solar energy …and so on. Also, he pointed out the English ability was still the basic requirement for employees.
“The progress of Taiwan’s policies and regulations were much slower than China.” William Lu said. The salary range for Taiwanese fresh graduates is 26k-30k, which were exactly the same with 35 years ago. Even the electronics industry was raising in Taiwan, the salary range didn’t. He worried this status could be a serious crisis.
The main abilities for fresh graduate’s competitiveness including independent thinking, logical thinking, team-work spirit, and highly stress resistant. Also, the experience of living abroad could be a plus.
