Compensation and Benefits

The human resource management of Microbio follows the three main frameworks of “recruitment, cultivation, and retention.” To retain talent, the Company takes industry characteristics, market conditions, and future development as reference for formulating the remuneration system. In accordance with the Company’s operational achievements and performance evaluation results of departments and employees, the Company provides appropriate rewards to employees. In addition, employee stock options and other incentive plans are used to align employees with the Company’s goals to create business performance and long-term value. The Company’s compensation policy is based on the duties of our staff and it does not differ due to the employee’s gender, ethnicity, religion, political orientation, marital status, and participation in unions and associations. The Company is also willing to share its operating results and profits with employees and wages paid are in line with Labor Standards Act. The compensation policy is based on duties and responsibilities while bonuses are paid subject to the annual performance appraisal results. Wages and bonuses do not differ based on the employee’s gender.

Labor Rights

In order fulfill CSR and protect the human rights of all employees, customers and interested parties, the Company complies with various international human right conventions, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the UN Global Compact, and other international human rights conventions of the International Labor Organization. We respect internationally recognized human rights and abide by the labor laws and regulations of the places where we operate. Healthy and Safe Working Environment

Microbio places great importance on providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees and workers while prioritizing environmental protection. The company has established an “Occupational Safety and Health Policy” as the highest guiding principle for safety and health management, supported by a range of specific action plans to ensure its implementation. The Longtan facility obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification from a third-party verification body in January 2021, with the most recent certification valid until January 2027.

Safety is the company’s top priority, and Microbio is dedicated to providing a safe, hygienic, and healthy work environment. Through education, training, and awareness campaigns, the company enhances employees’ understanding of occupational safety and health and fosters a strong awareness of hazard prevention.

To prevent fires, Microbio conducts fire emergency drills every six months and performs monthly self-inspections of fire safety equipment. Annual maintenance is carried out on equipment, including fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, hoses, emergency exit lights, and smoke detectors. Additionally, building safety inspections are conducted every two years to ensure compliance with fire safety standards, including fire compartmentation, lightning protection systems, and emergency power systems. Any identified deficiencies are promptly addressed and rectified.

At the Longtan facility, gas leak alarms are installed in areas such as the kitchen, gas cylinder storage, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tanks for boilers. These alarms are designed to notify relevant personnel immediately in the event of a fire alarm, ensuring safety at all times.
